Kevin Haluik is a professor at Mohawk College. He teaches in the Building and Construction Sciences Department of Engineering Technology.  He specializes in construction estimating, construction management and construction contracts in various programs.  Through years of experience in the construction industry, he has worked in a variety of roles:

  • General contracting
  • Construction-cost consulting
  • Quantity surveying
  • Building product sales
  • Skilled trades
  • Condominium management

Kevin is also a Mohawk College graduate from the Architectural Technology (Construction) program.  As a professional, he worked with the Canadian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (CIQS). In that role, he was a Construction Estimator Certified (CEC) and Associate Quantity Surveyor. As well as being a member of the CIQS association, he spent years at the Provincial Board. He was the Central Hamilton Chapter President. He also served as the OIQS Communication Chair. 

During his time at Mohawk, Kevin has maintained his network connections with industry. He has close ties with various professional associations such as:
