Stephanie is a Registered Social Worker, author, and retired police sergeant, with a background in counselling and policy development. She is an advocate for mental health and is certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Clinical Counselling Hypnotherapy. In addition to being a professor, Stephanie also operates a private practice providing individual counselling for mood disorders and other life challenges. She is also a yoga teacher with an interest in mindfulness-based approaches to wellness and self-care.
