Welcome to Exercise Stress Testing at Mohawk College. I am delighted to work as your instructor since 2023, guiding you through this course in our Cardiovascular Technology program. Drawing on my extensive experience in cardiovascular diagnostics and my passion for educating future health professionals.
Attended fours years at the St. Thomas University in Fredericton, New Brunswick (1998) studying Criminology and Psychology. After starting a family, I pursued a second career in healthcare, completing the Cardiovascular Technology program in 2013. This transition marked the beginning of a rewarding journey in cardiovascular care.
For eight years, I served as a Cardiovascular Technologist at Credit Valley Hospital in Mississauga, where I honed my skills across the full scope of practice, including exercise stress testing, ECG monitoring, and patient care. This equipped me with the expertise to perform and interpret diagnostic tests with precision and confidence.
I joined Niagara Health in 2016, where I currently work in Cardio Diagnostics at St. Catharines Hospital. My clinical experience informs my teaching, ensuring that course content is practical, evidence-based, and aligned with industry standards.
