With the support of Service Canada international students are welcome to apply for their Social Insurance Number (SIN).
What you need to bring:
- One primary identity document: proves your legal status in Canada (e.g. Your study permit stating that you "may work" or "may accept employment" in Canada)
- One secondary identity document: confirms your identity (e.g. Your passport)
