Electrical Engineering students were challenged to analyze the energy performance of a solar wall installed at a building maintained by City Hamilton Housing. They designed and tested a prototype for monitoring the operation and performance of the installed solar wall system.

CYO Wind Turbine Study

Students in the Electrical Engineering program competed to troubleshoot a pair of malfunctioning wind turbines installed at the Catholic Youth Organization site in Hamilton. Recommendations were provided to improve energy usage at the site through further evaluation of energy consumption data.
