Energy & Power Management Lab
The Energy and Power Management Lab gives students hands-on experience with electrical energy systems, renewable power technologies, and smart energy management. The lab supports learning in power generation, distribution, substations, microgrids, and energy conservation using industry-standard equipment and real-world systems. Students gain practical skills that prepare them for careers in hydro utilities, renewable energy and electrical power engineering.
Environmental Sustainability Lab
A hands‑on learning space featuring state of the art equipment such as a wall-mounted water purification system and a mini water treatment plant to support training in environmental monitoring and sustainable water systems.
Esports Lab
The Esports Lab at Mohawk College’s Fennell Campus is a dedicated gaming and competition space equipped with high-performance gaming PCs, professional-grade peripherals, and collaborative areas for students. The lab supports competitive Esports, recreational gaming, team training, and special events, providing students with opportunities to develop teamwork, strategic thinking, communication, and digital skills in an engaging environment.
FANUC Robotics Lab
The FANUC Robotics Lab provides hands-on training with industry-standard industrial robots used in modern manufacturing and automation. Students learn robotic programming, operation, and safety while working on real-world applications such as material handling and automated processes. The lab builds practical skills needed for careers in robotics, automation, and advanced manufacturing.
Fitness Lab
Room C143 is a dedicated academic fitness lab designed to support hands-on learning, standardized testing, and applied training. This dynamic space mirrors professional fitness and assessment environments, allowing students to train and evaluate performance in a structured, safe, and supportive setting. Used by students in our Justice programs for standardized physical testing and occupational readiness training, the lab also serves learners in the Health, Wellness and Fitness program.
Game Design Lab
Prepare for a career in the rapidly growing game design industry. Develop the design, technical and artistic skills used in game production, and examine ethical questions about content creation and workplace interactions.
General and Analytical Chemical Lab
Focused on quantitative chemical analysis and wet chemistry techniques, equipped with two new flame photometers for measuring metal ion concentrations such as sodium, potassium, calcium, and lithium.
General Chemistry Lab
A foundational laboratory where students develop essential industry‑related skills in titration, pH measurement, and core wet‑chemistry techniques used across environmental, chemical, and biotechnology technician roles.
Health Sciences Experiential Learning Lab
This lab provides a dedicated space for learning and simulated, experiential activities for students in the Recreation Therapy program.
