Campus to Community is teaming up with Canadian Blood Services to offer a blood donation event on Tuesday, July 30th with available appointments between 10:00 am - 11:00 am. Upon completion of this form, you will receive information to book your appointment with Campus to Community. Transportation will be provided for this event, with approximately two hours of time dedicated to travelling between campus and the donation centre, meeting with a nurse on location, and donating blood. Donations themselves will take approximately 15 minutes to complete.
As a note, all donors will need to bring government-issued identification (i.e. passport, driver's license, or health card). For a positive donation experience, please ensure to have a healthy meal beforehand and to hydrate, hydrate, hydrate!! Students who are donating blood should have a salty snack and drink plenty of water (up to two litres) prior to donating. Snacks and refreshments will be provided in the Student Life office prior to donation.
