Study Permit Verification Webform (WIL)

All international students participating in a work-integrated learning activity (co-op work term, field/practicum/clinical placement, or service-learning activity) must have a valid study permit that includes appropriate work authorization conditions prior to beginning their work-integrated learning activity (co-op/placement).

Please note: Students who do not submit a copy of a valid study permit with appropriate work authorization will not be able to begin their scheduled work-integrated learning activity (co-op/placement).

The file you upload must be either a .pdf, .doc, .docx, .png, .jpeg, .jpg. If you are not able to upload your document please email a copy of the document to:

Please select the option that best represents the status of your UPLOADED study permit:

Work Restrictions:

Some study permits include restrictions such as:

- Not authorized to work in healthcare settings
- Not authorized to work with children
- Not authorized to work in certain occupations

If your placement/co-op is in a healthcare, childcare, or related field, you must ensure your study permit does not include restrictions.

If you have restrictions:

- Complete an IRCC medical exam (if required)
- Apply to amend your study permit
- Receive approval before starting your placement/work term

Important: Students cannot begin their placement/co-op work term unless their study permit includes valid work authorization and no conflicting restrictions.
