General Education Elective Restriction List

General Education electives must be unrelated to a student’s program of study and cannot duplicate or overlap with required program content.

When selecting a General Education elective from the list of Missed/Failed or Special Authorization courses, or through Continuing Education, you must not choose a restricted course. The table below outlines current General Education elective restrictions by program. Courses listed as restricted (excluded) cannot be used as electives for the specified programs. If a program is not listed, there are no General Education elective restrictions.

While this exclusion list is updated each academic year and efforts are made to maintain accuracy, the list may be modified at any time to reflect changes to program of studies and course offerings.
