The Canadian Human Trafficking Hotline’s National Referral Directory is a resource to connect victims and survivors of trafficking to emergency, transitional, and long-term services in communities across Canada. This is not an exhaustive list of service providers, programs or anti-trafficking organizations in Canada. Organizations listed here have agreed to be included in the directory and have their information shared publicly on this site.

Canadian Centre to End Human Trafficking

The Canadian Centre to End Human Trafficking has been established as the national “backbone” organization working on this issue. The Centre collaborates and works with the various stakeholders dedicated to this issue, including all levels of government, private sector businesses and front line service providers in order to advance best practices and eliminate duplicate efforts across Canada.

Youth in Transition - Human Trafficking Initiative

YMCA Youth in Transition workers provide support to youth 24 years and younger that are or have been involved in a human trafficking situation. This support is available across the Golden Horseshoe.

The Hamilton Police Service Human Trafficking Unit

The Hamilton Police Service Human Trafficking Unit assists victims and investigates incidents of human trafficking. Hamilton Police Service Victim Service’s Branch responds to the immediate needs of people who have been victimized by crime and/or trauma, including victims of Human Trafficking.

Hamilton Anti-Human Trafficking Coalition

The Hamilton Anti-Human Trafficking Coalition’s (HAHTC) mission is to develop partnerships and protocols to identify and assist people who have been human trafficked in the Hamilton region and to link people who have been trafficked to appropriate services and supports. The Coalition works to increase knowledge and awareness of human trafficking, advocates for effective, rights-based responses, and conducts research to identify the scope of human trafficking in the Hamilton area.

Hamilton Native Women’s Centre: Healing Our Sisters

Healing Our Sisters is our anti-human trafficking program that provides wrap around services including emergency beds, transportation, medical care, meals and trauma-informed culturally respectful care to support women who are at risk and those who have lived the experience of human trafficking.

Our services are provided in the areas of:

  • Individual support and in-depth safety planning
  • Developing action plans
  • Providing information on a variety of traditional healing methods
