The UDL for Higher Education (un)Conference 2020 aims to build community and share learning within the UDL in higher education community and provide a significant learning opportunity for every perspective participant. The (un)conference will have a combination of structured workshops, open space, and unconference sessions.
(un)Conference
So, why the (un)? In an unconference, topics are generated by the participants in the moment and participants drive the process. It’s all about learners directing their own learning and ensuring that they meet their own learning goals and support others to meet theirs. The (un) portion of the conference will have topics determined by participants, sessions facilitated/guided by you, and open space sessions to provide ample of opportunities to share.
During the first day participants will be asked to identify challenges, successes, general topics of interest and anything else you can think of. Those ideas will be categorized and collated in preparation for the breakout sessions the following day.
