Overview

The launch of the Ontario Health Teams (OHTs)'s Digital Health Playbook provides a framework for the development of digital health plans. Apps for Health 2020 will help community hospitals and small-to-mid-sized healthcare organizations gain a functional understanding of what to consider when designing and implementing their digital health plans.

Learn from other community hospitals and from industry experts, with presentations and panel discussions focused on:

  • How do you select the right digital assets, tools, programs and services for your organization?
  • How do you ensure that the basic tools and functionalities are in place to support integrated care delivery?
  • How do you find, evaluate and leverage digital health technologies to provide better care that’s right for your hospital?

Who should attend

Apps for Health will provide value for Ontario and Canadian healthcare executives, health care providers and digital health specialists from the following sectors:

  • Community Hospitals (under 300 beds)
  • Primary care (including inter-professional primary care and physicians)
  • Secondary care (e.g., in-patient and ambulatory medical and surgical services (includes specialist services)
  • Home and community care
  • Community support services
  • Rehabilitation and complex care
