With specialized workstations and devices that support safe medication preparation, this lab helps learners build confidence, accuracy and professionalism before entering clinical placements. The sterile products lab is where students learn to prepare items that require a sterile environment, including IVs, syringes, chemotherapy drugs, and certain compounds.
