Student Leaders may be offered or assigned other duties related to their role, throughout their period of employment.

Academic Integrity Policy
4. Student leaders maintain a high level of confidentiality during and after their contract ends. As a student leader certain personal or confidential information may be disclosed to you, or you may have access to such information, and are expected to hold in confidence all matters that come to your attention while working within the Learning Support Centre. Student leaders do not divulge any information learned about individual students, prospective students, groups of students, or staff, or any other information which could be seen as personal and private.
5. Student leaders are not able to offer private tutoring for any of the courses they support as a Peer Tutor, and will instead refer students to other supports within the Learning Support Centre.
6. Though LSC services may be delivered online, employees must reside within Ontario for tax purposes. Although many of our employees are currently working remotely, all employees are expected to be able to work at their assigned campus as required.
7. In order to be able to provide tutoring to their peers, student leaders are expected to maintain an overall grade point average of 80% or higher. As a condition of employment, student leaders must remain a student of the institution and maintain status as a student in good academic standing with the Institution.
8. By signing the contract student leaders agree to have the Learning Support Centre conduct a reference check with Student Rights and Responsibilities to ensure that they are in good standing with their office.
9. By signing this contract student leaders agree to the Learning Support Centre (LSC) having the right to reproduce, use, exhibit, display, broadcast, and distribute their photographed and/or filmed images taken for use in connection with the activities of the LSC or for promoting, publicizing, or explaining the LSC or its activities.
Students who do not wish to have their image/picture used must let the Learning Support Centre know of their preference. Contact lsc [at] mohawkcollege.ca (lsc[at]mohawkcollege[dot]ca). Please note that interview photos are not included in this release, and will not be used.
