Dr. Athanasios (Ethan) Paschos is a professor of Biotechnology at Mohawk College. He holds a PhD from Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and completed his post doctoral fellowship at McMaster University. He brings extensive international research experience and a strong record of accomplishments at the intersection of microbiology, biochemistry, environmental monitoring, medical research, and chemistry.
Since joining Mohawk College in 2017, Dr. Paschos has taught a wide range of courses across Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, and the Environmental Technician program. He actively serves as a liaison between national content expertise organizations and his program, ensuring that students benefit from leading-edge knowledge and industry connections. He has also secured applied research funding and leading industry collaborations within his field.
