Virtual Maintenance Lab

Students from all three Mohawk aviation technician programs—Aircraft Maintenance, Aircraft Structures and Avionics Maintenance—will use this computer lab to learn how to navigate aircraft maintenance manuals and reports.

This lab features the only Boeing 787 NG Virtual Maintenance Training system in a Canadian college. Students learn on a fully interactive virtual aircraft. This system is used to demonstrate the many mechanical, electrical and electronic systems of a large jet. Students develop troubleshooting skills by methodically finding randomized faults in all the aircraft’s operating and safety systems.
