Patient Partnership Program - supporting family caregivers as integral partners
As part of Mohawk’s ongoing commitment to prioritize patient and family-centered care in education, the School of Health has taken a significant leap with the launch of its Patient Partnership Program, inviting patients and caregivers to play an active role in fostering a culture that acknowledges, values, and supports family caregivers as integral partners.
Mohawk places second at St. Joseph’s Healthcare event
On December 4, 2024, Mohawk College proudly participated in the Better Together: Sharing Experiences and Empowering Voices event hosted by St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton. The event, which celebrated collaboration between patients, families, and healthcare professionals, was an important opportunity to showcase Mohawk College's ongoing efforts to integrate patient and family voices into its academic programming.
