Labs and Simulation Spaces

With support from aerospace industrial partners, this lab provides students with the experience of an operational manufacturing plant.

Students from our Aviation Technician - Aircraft Maintenance and Aviation Technician - Aircraft Structures programs will use this lab to learn how to build aircraft parts. The lab focuses on composite materials, with full production control and quality assurance systems, teaching students to follow the best practices used by major companies.

In the GE Revolution Dual energy CT room students and researchers use technology needed to simulate and perform real-world CT procedures including research. This area is used by Mohawk staff and students as well as external research professionals.

Bring your ideas to life in the Design Lab. This creative space supports game design, graphic design, animation, video editing, branding, and digital content creation. Students collaborate on esports and gaming projects while building the creative and technical skills needed for careers in the digital media industry.

The Diagnostic Sonography Lab provides a realistic clinical environment where students can develop hands-on ultrasound skills. This space includes dedicated scanning bays and professional equipment, allowing learners to practice patient care, build confidence and prepare for real clinical placements.

The Digital Creativity Centre (DCC), located in Room EA105 at the Fennell Campus, is a vibrant collaboration centre that provides access to bookable project rooms, technology, flexible spaces, and drop-in tech support.
