The IDEAWORKS Catalyst Fund (ICF) is available to support and encourage Mohawk faculty and staff to engage in applied research. The fund is designed to develop and build internal capacity for research and innovation by providing the funding needed for faculty and staff to turn their ideas into solutions.
This funding stream of the ICF is focused on providing funding to help new and emerging researchers prepare external grant applications. Funding can be used for either an internal course release or to hire an external grant writer.
Upcoming Application Deadlines:
Winter 2025 Funding: October 11, 2024
Spring 2025 Funding: February 14, 2025
Fall 2025 Funding: April 12, 2025
A limited amount of funding is available and unfortunately, not all applicants will be funded. Awarded funding levels may vary depending on the size of the grant and the standard time it takes to prepare a grant of that size. All funding decisions are at the discretion of the IDEAWORKS review committee.
