Martin has extensive experience in the Addiction and Mental Health field having worked as a Provincial Project Manager for many years with the Addiction Research Foundation and the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health. His interests are in Concurrent Disorders, the Opioid Crisis, and the intersection between Mental Illness, Addiction and the Criminal Justice System.
Martin is focused on providing students with experiential practice. For example, course work will relate to the current provincial roll out of screening tools designed to improve identification of concurrent disorders.
