Are all job opportunities posted?

Due to our obligations under the collective agreement, full time Support Staff positions are posted internally first. For all other opportunities we will make every opportunity to post jobs but due to time sensitivity and nature/urgency some job opportunities will not be posted.

Since every position is different and can have a number of applications, there is no standard response time. Please note that only those selected for an interview will be contacted.

I have been contacted for an interview. What do I need to bring to the interview?

If you are selected for an interview, you may be asked to bring in legible copies of your educational credentials and/or evaluation(s).

What does the recruitment process involve?

The recruitment process varies by position but generally involves a panel interview and can include a presentation component/teaching lesson. Second interviews may be required depending on the nature of the position. Only those candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.

What qualifications do I need to become an instructor/professor?

The college requires part time faculty members to have an academic credential at a minimum of one level above the credential granted by the program. In addition, you must possess current industry experience combined with prior teaching experience.
