Student Requirements for Field Placement
Our students come prepared with a valid Vulnerable Sector Check (within 6 months of the start date of placement), up-to-date Immunizations with a health assessment, two step TB (within the two year program), Health & Safety Training certificates (AODA, WHMIS, Workers Health and Safety Awareness, Workplace Harassment & Violence and Fire Safety) and Standard First Aid & CPR (Level C). COVID-19 is recommend for our program and it would be up to the agency/site to confirm this requirement with the student if required. This would be the same process for all other requirements to check with the student during the orientation/interview which the student will arrange with you prior to placement starting. If you require additional requirements for student participation this would be a good time to inform the student.
