Useful Resources for Current LINC, WPP and OSLT students

Getting started online

To get started with your classes, you need to access information that is important for your learning experience. This information can be found online by navigating the main page of the college. The name of the places that you will be visiting through the main page, are: MyMohawk, MyCanvas and Mohawk email.

 

To access any of these places you need to have your Mohawk email address and your MohawkID (student ID number). This is the 9-digit number that you receive from the support staff at the beginning of your course. If you do not remember your Mohawk email or your MohawkID, contact us at: learnEnglish [at] mohawkcollege.ca

 

To learn more about the following options, click on the section that you want to display:

Access MyMohawk, MyCanvas and Mohawk email

Step 1: In your browser (Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or whatever you use), go to: www.mohawkcollege.ca

Step 2: Click on Login

Step 3: Choose from the list the option that you want to open

 

Step 4: Type your MohawkID (9-digit student number) and your password, then click on Sign in

MyCanvas

MyCanvas is the learning management system that students at Mohawk College use for online learning.

MyCanvas offers an app that allows you to access your course information, communicate with your instructors, submit assignments, check grades, and manage your MyCanvas account from anywhere, at any time. However, the app does not do everything that the full web-based version does, so we recommend using a computer for fully online learning.

Zoom

Zoom is a software platform that allows you to see and talk to other people using computers, mobile devices and their cameras.
