Indigenous Student Orientation

Monday, January 6, 2020, 11am - 12 pm | Indigenous Education & Student Services Boardroom (A112)

Indigenous Student Orientation is a chance for students to get to see our space, become familiar with our services, and learn about the self-ID process and more. Learn to Speak Ojibwe

Thursday January 9, 16 & 23, 2020, begins at 5 - 6pm | Indigenous Education & Student Services (A114)

Indigenous Education and Student Services is offering an opportunity for all Mohawk College Faculty, Staff and Students to learn the basics of the Ojibwe language with speaker Kelly Jonathan in a six week series. Full Moon Ceremony

Winter Welcome Social

Friday January 31, 2020, 5 - 8pm | DBARC Gym 3

Join Indigenous Education & Student Services (IESS) as we celebrate the beginning of the semester with a Social with dinner, social songs, and dancing in partnership with the Hamilton Regional Indian Centre on  Friday January 31st from 5:00pm – 8:30pm in DBARC Gym 3.  Everyone welcome! Drop-in Cultural Crafting

Beginning on January 21st, every Tuesday throughout the Winter Semester (excluding Winter Break) join our Indigenous Awareness Programmer, Amanda Aitchison for a drop-in crafting time for students from 1:30pm – 3:30pm.
