Shake off the winter blues and step into spring at our Campus BioBlitz!
Join us outdoors at Mohawk College Fennell Campus to explore nature, breathe in some fresh air, and discover the plants and animals living right around us. You’ll build your species ID skills and learn how to use the iNaturalist app to document real biodiversity on campus.
Step into your role as a sustainable leader by contributing to meaningful community-based research. Your observations will support Hamilton’s Natural Areas Inventory, helping protect and restore local habitats and serving our broader community. Get outside, get curious, and make a real impact!

Time: 2:00pm - 4:00pm
Where: Fennell Campus (F114 & Outdoor)
This event includes both indoor and outdoor components. We’ll begin with a short presentation on how to use the iNaturalist app to document biodiversity. Please download the free iNaturalist app in advance and bring your device to the event. Participants will then head outside to explore and record findings on campus with guidance from staff and the Hamilton Conservation Authority team.
