Joel St Pierre is a professor of Psychology in the School of Liberal Studies at Mohawk College since 2009. He teaches Introductory, Developmental, Abnormal, and Social Psychology courses, as well as courses in substance use and addiction, including Drugs and Behaviour, and Psychopharmacology for Concurrent Disorders. While Joel enjoys teaching in the classroom, he also pursues the challenge of innovative and engaging online teaching. Joel is the coordinator of the Pre-Health Sciences programs, supporting students as they prepare for their academic journeys to become the next generation of healthcare workers. Joel possesses a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (Honours) from McMaster University with a specialization in Evolution and Social Behaviour, and a Masters degree in Behavioural Neuroscience from Brock University.
