Louie Rosella is an award-winning journalist employed in The Toronto Star family. Currently, he is the digital editor for Metroland West's publications, managing a number of websites including Inside Halton and The IFP. Prior to that, Louie was a reporter for a number of publications, including The Toronto Star, the Kitchener-Waterloo Record, The Mississauga News and The Brampton Guardian. He has won a number of awards provincially for his investigative and breaking news stories, along with his multimedia work.
Louie has been with Mohawk College since 2017, where he is currently a professor in the Journalism Advanced Diploma program and Pre-Media program. Louie has also taught at Sheridan College and The University of Guelph-Humber.
Louie went to Toronto Metropolitan University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Journalism. He also obtained a Master of Education from Memorial University in Newfoundland.
