Degree Development

Degree development at Mohawk College is dynamic and facilitated by the Academic Quality team, supported by a robust infrastructure including the Degree Advisory Council (DAC), Curriculum and Program Quality Consultants (CPQCs) from the Centre for Teaching & Learning Innovation (CTLI), and other internal supports.

Like other program proposals at Mohawk College, stand alone degrees require a variety of internal and external approvals, including a self-study to demonstrate how the proposed degree will meet the degree-level standards and benchmarks assessed by the Postsecondary Education Quality Assessment Board (PEQAB).

The Degree Development handbook will be available soon.

Collaborative Degree Programs

Some of Mohawk's Degree programs are offered jointly by Mohawk College and other post-secondary institutions. You may earn either one or two credentials. These programs combine experiential and applied learning with a strong foundation of theory and critical thinking.  Programs also include work term placements, which provide valuable industry-specific experience for graduates. Degrees generally require four years of full-time study.
