"In the 1960s, a new generation of Inuit witnessed their parents and grandparents living in fear and set out to fight back against the destructive forces of cultural domination and colonialism. Their vision – a new territory called Nunavut. A twisting, dramatic, thirty-year long fight for Aboriginal rights told in the voices of people who made Canadian history."
