This week:

"Unreconciled: Family, Truth, Indigenous Resistance with Jesse Wente"

"Part memoir and manifesto, “Unreconciled” is an authentic call to dismantle the concept of reconciliation and instead focus on building a new, respectful relationship between Canada and Indigenous peoples. The author, Jesse Wente, searches for answers by exploring his family’s history, including his grandmother’s experience in residential schools and his own challenges with racial profiling. This book takes on the difficult history of Indigenous peoples in Canada and gives a voice to those that have been portrayed, understood and seen different to what they truly are."
