Students looking to differentiate themselves find Industry-based certifications a great way to get industry relevant skills and stand out. CTLI offers a range of certifications that can be integrated into curriculum or delivered as self-directed learning through our Digital Skills Coordinators.
Certifications Available
Microsoft Fundamentals
Several MS Fundamentals are available for faculty to integrate into their curriculum. We will also offer these direct to students who are interested in both the Fall and Winter terms. We have learning materials, practice tests and will run certification exams in labs or online.
Microsoft Office Specialist
Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook are all essential tools in the workplace. The MS Office Specialist program provides industry-leading assessments of skills and knowledge through project-based testing, giving students real-world exercises to appraise their understanding of Microsoft Office. This guarantees that every certified user can prove they have the ability to command the full features and functionality of Microsoft Office. These will be offered directly to students through the Digital Skills team.
Adobe Professional
Adobe Certified Professional is the industry-recognized certification that demonstrates mastery of Adobe Creative Cloud software and must-have knowledge for digital media careers. Each exam is integrated with an Adobe application and designed by experts, allowing for an authentic assessment of job-ready skills. We have learning materials, practice tests and run the certification exams to earn a badge issued by Adobe. Products include Photoshop, InDesign, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Animate, Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Premiere Pro.
PMI Project Management Ready
The PMI Project Management Ready™ certification is a means for students to push into the Project Management space and connect with likeminded peers professionally.
This certification will provide an introduction to project management, the tools that are required to succeed, and showcase the various pathways to careers.
