SIGMA Online at Mohawk College
The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Mohawk College invites high school students to participate in SIGMA Online, a province wide competition designed to engage learners in practical and interdisciplinary applications of mathematics and statistics. This event offers an accessible, co curricular opportunity for teachers and students who wish to extend classroom learning and explore how quantitative reasoning supports fields such as business and technology.
SIGMA Online takes place once per year in May. Teachers register first to create a school group, after which students may register individually. Registration is required and students cannot register on their own. Once a teacher’s registration is approved, instructions and a school access code will be provided.
