Indigenous Outreach & Education Advisor 

Our Outreach & Education Advisor is available to assist students by answering questions or concerns regarding college admissions, program information, career services, scholarships & bursaries. The Advisor also acts as a liaison with high schools and various Indigenous organizations and promotes College programs and services through information sessions, College tours, and career fairs.

Indigenous Student Success & Retention Advisor

Our Indigenous Student Success and Retention Advisor is available to assist current students with managing their course load and that ensuring student supports are in place.  The ISSRA will advocate for students and provide connections with appropriate services within the College to promote student wellness and work to eliminate gaps and barriers.

Indigenous Awareness Programmer

Our Indigenous Awareness Programmer provides and organizes a number of cultural awareness activities and workshop for our Indigenous Students to engage in including guest speakers, craft sessions, and Elder as a Resource. Acting Manager, Indigenous Student Services 

Amanda has worked at Mohawk College within Indigenous Student Services (ISS) for over five years. In her current role as the Acting Manager of Indigenous Student Services, Amanda oversees the ISS team, Elder visits, cultural awareness activities, student success initiatives, and provides support and direction for the highly acclaimed Pathfinder: Indigenous Youth Program summer experience. Amanda is dedicated to student success and supporting Indigenous students throughout their educational journey.
