What are KPI Surveys?

The KPI (Key Performance Indicator) Surveys are mandated by the Ministry of Colleges and Universities (MCU). Students, graduates and employers are surveyed to measure their satisfaction with the programs, facilities and services offered by Colleges in Ontario and will provide an indication of how well these needs are being met.

The survey content and timing is different for each of the Student, Graduate and Employer surveys. Ultimately, these surveys are intended to capture the individual satisfaction and engagement with the college.

Graduate Survey

All college graduates in Ontario are contacted six to eight months after their graduation to participate in the KPI Graduate Outcomes and Graduate Satisfaction Survey. This is a chance to provide feedback about the college and the graduate's experiences since leaving the college. Mohawk graduates are also contacted two years after graduation to gather further feedback.

These surveys are intended to capture graduate satisfaction and outcomes, and to determine how well they feel the college has prepared its graduates to meet the needs of their employers.

The information collected in the survey is used by the college to help students and graduates make informed career decisions and to review program quality, and by the Ministry to produce the annual employment profile of graduates and to report on the performance of colleges.

Graduates will be contacted by Forum Research Inc. and required to answer a short survey regarding their current education and employment status. Upon completion of the survey, you will be provided instantly with a $10 gift card to a retail vendor and be enter in to a draw for the chance to win a $500 gift card with Air Canada.

Prior to conducting the employer survey, a graduate survey is completed in which graduates are asked to identify their employer and provide the name and phone number of their direct supervisor. The information collected in the survey is used by the college to help students and graduates make informed career decisions and to evaluate their program quality to ensure that the needs of students and employers are being met.
