Navigating Your Concerns:

Learn about your Rights and Responsibilities as a member of the Mohawk College community! The Student Rights and Responsibilities Office supports the resolution of various student concerns through a student-focused, collaborative process. We offer a full range of resolution services, including consultation, referral and support, informal and formal resolution pathways. We can help you to understand and navigate school policies, address student behaviour concerns, address human rights complaints, obtain assistance with conflict resolution or access supports and services.

Reach out to us if you are:

  • Experiencing harassment or discrimination

  • Affected by sexualized violence and looking for more information

  • Bothered by the behaviour of a fellow student and unsure of what to do next

  • Interested in conflict resolution coaching or assistance

  • Wondering about supports and services with the College or in the community

  • Confused about a policy or a procedure on campus

You can expect our response to your concern to be respectful, informative and inclusive. We will listen, offer guidance, help you to understand your options and identify your next steps, and connect you to resources and supports. You do not have to file a formal report to access support and information through our office.
