Explanation of Promotion Statuses

How did you do?  Did you pass?  Are you able to continue in your program?

Your academic promotion status explains how you did, and can be seen with your grades in MyMohawk.

An overall Weighted Grade Point Average (WGPA) of at least 60% and completion of all courses in your program of studies are required for graduation.*

*Some programs have Exceptions to the required weighted GPA

Refer to the College Promotion Policy (AC700) (opens PDF, 96kb) for more information and details about your academic promotion status.

We understand that success does not always follow a predictable path. We also know that college students have complicated lives, and personal, financial, health and family reasons may have had an impact on your academics. With that in mind, we have a variety of support services designed specifically for this process.
