Fee payment deadlines and timetable selection

Fee statements

Fee statements are sent to new and returning domestic students each term. Your fee statement will be sent to your Mohawk email as early as October 15, or once you have accepted your offer of admission. Be sure to check your spam or junk folder.

Thursday, November 15, or the due date on your fee statement

Pay the total amount owing by the tuition deposit deadline OR the non-refundable tuition deposit to secure your seat. OSAP does not cover the tuition deposit. Learn more about payment options.


Assessments for Success

  • Assessments for Success are required for new first semester Mohawk students and are designed to assess your incoming literacy skills so we can better help you succeed. The results of your assessment do not affect your offer of admission. Learn more and book your assessment.

  • Find out when you can select your timetable. Timetable selection dates vary by program and begin as early as Monday, December 11. Find the date and time that timetable selection begins for your program in MyMohawk on Monday, November 27.

Monday, December 11

Timetable selection opens.

Before you can select your timetable and register, one of the payment options must be met.

  • Step 1: Select your timetable in MyMohawk
  • Step 2: Pay any outstanding balance and complete your registration by clicking the ‘Submit to register’ button. If you have applied for and have proof of OSAP eligibility on your account you will be able to defer the balance of your fees to complete your registration.
  • Step 3: View your timetable. Learn more about how to view your timetable.
  • Your courses will show up in MyCanvas on the first day of class. Log in to MyCanvas using your MohawkID and existing password (same as MyMohawk). Learn more in the MyCanvas guide.

  • For students receiving OSAP, the balance of your Fall semester fees is due. You are required to pay the outstanding balance in full regardless of your OSAP status. Failing to do so will result in a balance owing late fee.

Pay the total amount owing by the tuition deposit deadline OR the non-refundable tuition deposit to secure your seat. A tuition deposit is required once per academic year. OSAP does not cover the tuition deposit. Learn more about payment options.

  • Your fee statement will be sent to your Mohawk College e-mail account. Check your Mohawk e-mail regularly. ​
  • If you are applying for OSAP, you may defer the balance of your fees when you select your timetable. Your eligibility to defer fees will be determined once you have selected your timetable to register. If you do not have a deferral on file you will be prompted for fee payment in order to submit your registration.

  • If your education is being funded by an employer or agency, please submit a letter by email from your sponsor with your fee statement to Accounting at arsponsors@mohawkcollege.ca.
  • Receipt of your sponsorship letter by the tuition deposit deadline on your fee statement will secure your seat in your program and enable you to select your timetable to register.
  • Better Jobs Ontario (formerly Second Career) Applicants: New students must submit the signed Ministry contract prior to timetable selection in order to register without paying the tuition deposit. If timetable selection opens before your contract has been submitted you will be prompted to pay a tuition deposit to select your timetable.

Before you can select your timetable and register, one of the payment options must be met. You will be prompted to make a deposit and/or payment of the balance owing if your sponsorship or contract has not been submitted to arsponsors@mohawkcollege.ca.

  • Step 1: Select your timetable in MyMohawk. Receipt of your sponsorship letter by the tuition deposit deadline will let you to select your timetable to register and defer your fees.
  • Step 2: View your timetable. Learn more about how to view your timetable.
  • Your courses will show up in MyCanvas on the first day of class. Log in to MyCanvas using your MohawkID and existing password (same as MyMohawk). Learn more in the MyCanvas guide.

First Year Experience Program sign up begins for new students.
