Obtain your grade 12 equivalents to meet admission requirements.

  • Mohawk's Academic Upgrading program can help you meet admission requirements.
  • If you are 19 and older, not currently in high school and/or do not have an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent you may write the mature applicant test to qualify for your program of choice.
I completed some postsecondary credits at another institution.

Explore a certificate, diploma, advanced diploma, or degree program that interests you. You may be able to earn credit for previous postsecondary education.
I already have a postsecondary credential.

I want to start an apprenticeship.

If you are working in your trade of choice, register as an apprentice with the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skill Development.

 

If you are not working in your trade of choice yet consider a certificate or diploma related to the trade you’re interested in, or, start a pre-apprenticeship program.
