New international students

You will receive a Letter of Acceptance via email with information about your fees. Read more information about next steps to complete registration in our Get Ready to Start webpage.

Returning students

Fee statements will be sent to your Mohawk email account as early as February 15. International students who have requested a program change will receive information related to their fees sent directly to their MyMohawk email account.

March

Full Tuition Payment Deadline - March 15

  • As early as Friday, March 15 (or later depending on when you accept your offer)
  • All semester 1 students must pay full tuition to secure your seat and avoid a late fee. Your fees are located on the second page of your Letter of Acceptance. Read more about how to pay
  • After March 15, new international students will receive direction on how to confirm when your study visa has been approved. You will receive information via email on these steps.

 

When to register online - March 25

  • Find out when you can select your timetable. 
  • Timetable selection dates vary by program and begin as early as Monday, April 8. 
  • Find the date and time that timetable selection begins for your program in MyMohawk on Monday, March 25.

 

April

Complete Check in - April 1 (on or about)

  • Check in Early!  Watch your email for a notification to start the check in process. 

  • Upon approval upload your documents on the iCent app

  • Students travelling to Canada can visit the Get Ready to Start and Entering Canada websites for information on travel requirements. 
  • As a new student, you may arrive no sooner than 5 weeks before the scheduled start date of your program.

 

Timetable Selection - April 8 

Summer timetable selections begin. You must check in via the mandatory iCent app before you can select your timetable.

All academic and language conditions must be met along with visa approval and travel approvals before you can select your timetable.

  • Step 1: Upload your documents on iCent check in with us tab.
  • Step 2: Wait for an email and notification that we have processed your documents and you can select your timetable when opens.
  • Step 3: View your timetable. Learn more about how to view your timetable.

 

Complete Assessments for Success 

Assessments for Success are required for first semester Mohawk students and are designed to assess your incoming literacy and math skills so we can better help you succeed. The results of your assessment do not affect your offer of admission. Learn more and book your assessment.

Timetable Selection - April 8 

  • Summer timetable selections begin, depending on program, in MyMohawk.
  • Note: You can not select your timetable unless you have paid full fees. 
     

May

Full Fee Deadline (Sem. 2+) - May 1

Semester 2+ students must pay full fees to select their timetable on MyMohawk.  


Note: A late fee will apply after this date for any unpaid tuition.

Downloading the iCent App

Follow these steps to download the app:

  1. Visit the App Store or Google Play and download the app
  2. Enter Canada in the “Institution Country” field
  3. Enter Mohawk College International in the “Institution Name” field
  4. Use your email to register for the app, you will be sent an email with your PIN. Please remember to check your Junk Mail inbox
  5. Use your PIN to login the app

Full fees for Semester 1 or by the due date on your Letter of Acceptance and non-refundable deposit due for returning international students.

Monday, March 25

Timetable registration dates posted. Find the date for your program.

Monday, April 8

Summer timetable selection begins. Check MyMohawk for the date and time your program registration starts.

Wednesday, May 1

Returning student deadline for full fee payment.

Thursday, May 2

Special authorization/add period begins.

Monday, May 6

Program & Career Launch – Academic Orientation (select programs).

Monday, May 6

Classes start for new and returning students.

Friday, May 10

Last Day to Register for Semester 1 Students at the Mississauga Campus

Friday, May 17

Last day to apply for course exemption(s) and to add or drop courses for a tuition refund (if applicable).

Saturday, June 15

Balance of deferred Summer fees due. A late fee will apply after this date.

Friday, July 19

Last day to withdraw without academic penalty.

Friday, August 30

Last day to appeal final grades
