Eduroam Visitor Access (eVA) allows Mohawk College employees to easily provide secure, temporary Wi-Fi access to their visitors without having to contact IT. Visitors who are provided access through eVA have internet access only and are not on the internal Mohawk College network. College Internet-facing services are still available on this network as if you were at home.
Before You Begin
It is your responsibility to make guests aware of our Acceptable Use Policies (new window). You are responsible for their actions and activities while connected to the Eduroam network.
Your guests require either a cell phone for text messages or a personal e-mail account to receive their account credentials. Credentials are automatically sent from the system but ask your guests to check junk mail folders if they are not receiving the notification.
All Employees are automatically enrolled as a ‘Standard User’ and have permissions to create up to 10 simultaneous accounts with a maximum access period of 14 days.
Please note: Contractors requiring access to internal college systems must have an access request submitted on their behalf. See Third Party Remote Access.
