The Global Learning Team supports organized learning experiences for full time students and faculty and staff that take place abroad. The team also supports exchange students pursuing studies in Canada, along with students seeking opportunities outside of Canada. The team encourages all students in gaining international exposure both locally and abroad through faculty led exchanges and study abroad programs.

My role focuses on inbound and outbound student mobility projects. For outbound mobility, I help build projects that send Mohawk students to new countries. Once there, they learn valuable, job-ready skills. Our projects expand students cultural competencies, soft skills, and hard skills for more globally competitive employability. I personally went on one of these trips as a student, which helps me in this role. On the inbound side, I facilitate bringing exchange students into Canada, where they learn at Mohawk College. This involves helping them complete important documents, registration, and generally set them up for success.
